The Project Manager will assist the government with the initiation, planning, execution, and closure of projects for new capabilities within the SOCOM Information Environment (SIE). Within this scope, a project is defined as a USSOCOM, Component Command, TSOC, or deployed forces’ designated and approved activity, or group of activities, required to achieve the objective of creating, providing, delivering, or enhancing a specific IT product or service. Proven professional experience in IT project management, preferably within a federal government, Department of Defense (DoD), or military command environment (such as USSOCOM or tactical deployment forces).
Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is strictly required.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must be eligible for and able to obtain and maintain required security clearance/access approvals.
