Project Manager Sr - Geospatial

Project Managers lead a wide variety of project types including:

• Design and deployment of custom web applications
• Geoanalytics and visualization
• Geoprocessing and data transformation
• Enterprise system design and implementation planning
• Strategic planning and execution

Project Managers are responsible for:

• Project Execution Managing the execution of medium and large, complex, multi-year projects with substantial budgets and stakeholder management needs Understanding and managing contracts and subcontracts Communicating with internal teams, subcontractors, and customers Managing and understanding technical and non-technical details of a project Serving as strong and collaborative project team leader Working directly with clients, stakeholders, and the project team to ensure project success Leading and facilitating meetings Coordinating the project team and delegating technical tasks Ensuring the quality of project deliverables Project planning and status reporting Budget projections, tracking, reporting and analysis Practical application of project management best practices Effectively using PMO Project Management best practices, tools and applications and training and mentoring other Project Management staff Assures quality. • Business Development Taking a lead role in proposal writing, including project approach and scope development, budget and schedule development Nurturing existing client relationships to acquire new and repeat business Supporting Sales and Marketing staff in their pursuit of new business (e.g., documenting project descriptions, participating in webinars and sales meetings) Coordinate contract and subcontract negotiations Occasional travel may be required Other duties as assigned
