Project Manager (Senior)

A Project Manager (Senior) in our Experience Design Studio in central Bristol (occasional travel to our Head Office in Swindon will be required).

£41,535 - £55,380 dependant on skills & experience + excellent benefits

This is a permanent position, on a 35 hour a week contract

We’re a studio of mostly ex-agency folk, doing what’s right for Nationwide’s 14 million members. Online. In branch. At ATMs. Over the phone. We can do this because we’re closer to stakeholders, process, data and insights than any agency ever could be. In short, we’re on the inside.

Projects don’t get delivered on their own. They need leading, shaping, supporting and smart thinking to get multi-discipline teams working together. If you like working as part of a team, have experience design at the heart of your delivery ethos and understand what it takes to deliver complex, exciting projects then read on.

Experience of managing medium to large size projects, within fast-paced commercial digital environments and/or Project Management practice.

Be comfortable and able to evidence using a number of methodologies, including waterfall and agile and understand the benefits and drawbacks of each approach.

Have managed risks, issues and general troubleshooting at project level and be comfortable communicating information on status to project steering boards.

Experienced in planning and managing project resource, timescales and finances across multiple disciplines, and have previous experience of managing deliverables through external suppliers.

Have a strong appreciation of digital disciplines, including the role of user experience, digital design and development and of what it takes to deliver highly successful digital projects.
