Lead hospital-wide QI initiatives that align with LHS and hospital strategic priorities, especially in areas of client and family experience and access to care.
Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and Design Thinking methodologies to guide performance improvements. Use advanced tools such as PowerBI, Cognos, and Excel for data analysis and visualization.
Manage end-to-end project life cycles including scoping, planning, stakeholder coordination, risk assessment, and progress reporting. Offer expert consultation to teams hospital-wide.
Present QI initiatives to internal committees and external partners. Co-chair institutional groups such as the Quality & Safety Committee and Equipment Steering Committee.
Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to enhance QI competencies within the hospital.
Design and implement best practices and tools that support LHS goals. Promote a culture of safety and continuous learning through proactive problem-solving and redesign.
Master's degree in healthcare or a related field, required
Undergraduate degree in industrial or mechanical engineering, Regulated Health Professional, or a related degree
Certification in QI (Lean, Six Sigma, IDEAS, CQuIPS, IHI or equivalent), required
Minimum of 5 years of related work experience in a healthcare or complex service environment
Demonstrated success managing data-intensive improvement initiatives
Familiarity with performance measurement, regulatory compliance and accreditation standards
