Role Overview
GHD is seeking an experienced Project Manager - Property and Buildings for its Canadian West Property and Buildings team.
The role supports Canadian Operations in Vancouver, Calgary, or Edmonton and leads design-build project delivery.
Workplace Model
- The role follows a hybrid work model with in-office collaboration three days per week.
Responsibilities
- Lead design-build projects from planning through completion while managing scope, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations.
- Manage small and medium-sized projects or support larger, complex projects.
- Develop project execution plans, schedules, budgets, forecasts, and risk registers.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary architecture, structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, and specialty teams.
- Monitor project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk.
- Support client communications and act as a day-to-day stakeholder contact.
- Coordinate with contractors, subconsultants, regulatory authorities, and owner representatives.
- Support procurement, contract administration, project controls, and construction-phase services.
- Prepare project reports, presentations, status updates, and project documentation.
Candidate Requirements
- 5-10 years of project delivery experience in buildings, infrastructure, industrial, institutional, or public-sector markets.
- Degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related discipline.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing scope, schedule, budget, and risk.
- Understanding of project delivery methodologies and project governance principles.
- Experience across planning, design, procurement, construction, and close-out phases.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent assignments and competing priorities.
- Working knowledge of project management tools, financial management practices, and project reporting requirements.
Salary
- The salary range is $85,140-$141,900 per year.
- The salary range is based on the preferred work location and may change if the selected candidate's location differs.
