Project Manager Products and Solutions - Engineering Senior Analyst

The Program Engineer – Power Solutions and Distribution will manage the development and execution of new products within the Power Solutions and Distribution Product Line, part of the Power Management Business Unit . This role is needed to support the expansion of the product line portfolio, which is increasing in both size and complexity.

The role will primarily focus on New Product Development / New Product Introduction programs managed through the Vertiv NPDI process , while also supporting selected initiatives related to existing products, including sustaining, regionalization, cost-out, compliance, lifecycle management, and engineering change projects.

The successful candidate will be expected to independently manage high-complexity programs with limited supervision, leading cross-functional teams through influence, structure, accountability, and strong execution control.

The role reports to the Product Line Engineering Manager .

Lead and manage multiple cross-functional projects and programs within the PSD Product Line.

Own projects execution from initiation to launch, ensuring clear planning, disciplined execution, and alignment with the Vertiv NPDI process.

Drive project scope, schedule, cost, quality, resources, risks, dependencies, and deliverables to ensure successful achievement of business and technical objectives.

Prepare and support NPDI gate reviews, milestone reviews, governance meetings, and launch readiness assessments.

Maintain strong execution control through project dashboards, integrated schedules, risk registers, issue logs, action trackers, decision logs, and executive status reporting.

Lead cross-functional teams without direct authority, driving accountability across Engineering, Product Management, Operations, Supply Chain, Service, Quality, Finance, Sales, Compliance/Certification, and regional teams.

Ensure stakeholder alignment on priorities, risks, trade-offs, decisions, escalations, and recovery plans.
