Responsibilities
- Lead overall project planning, execution, monitoring, and control of road construction works
- Prepare project execution plans (PEP), timelines, work programs, and resource plans
- Manage daily construction activities including earthworks, pavement, drainage, utilities, and traffic diversions
- Coordinate with consultants, government authorities, and subcontractors on technical and permitting matters
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards (AASHTO, ASTM, local codes), and safety regulations
- Monitor project budget, cost performance, and cash flows
- Conduct site inspections, resolve technical issues, and approve work methods
- Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions
- Lead progress meetings, prepare weekly/monthly reports, and address critical delays
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans
- Ensure the implementation of QA/QC and HSE plans across the project
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering
- 12–15 years' experience in managing major road/highway infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of road construction methods, materials, and specifications
- Proven experience with stakeholder and client management
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and project reporting tools
- Familiarity with FIDIC and contract administration

Overview
- The Road Project Manager oversees the end‑to‑end execution of road and highway construction projects.
- The role ensures that all project activities—including planning, design coordination, construction, safety, and quality control—are executed efficiently, within budget, and on schedule.
- The manager acts as the primary interface between contractors, consultants, stakeholders, and government authorities.
Your role
