This role has overall responsibility for overseeing the development of budgets, schedules and reports as well as for the management and coordination of project staff and sub-contractors to ensure safe, cost effective, efficient and timely completion of projects in order to meet and/or exceed client expectations. Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in Engineering from a recognized university
Minimum of 8 years engineering or operations experience focusing on heavy industrial projects including at least 2 years in a project management role
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Ability to work with people at all levels
Effective organizational skills and be able to multi-task
Strong track record of successful project completion
Completion of a diploma or degree in a certified project management program is considered an asset
A willingness to travel for varying durations and at times to remote locations
Authorization to work lawfully in Canada without sponsorship from Wood is required
