Role Overview
Project Manager responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing landscape maintenance projects within agreed budget, timeline, and scope.
The role includes monitoring project progress and presenting updates to stakeholders, clients, and project team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the landscape maintenance team and maintain high daily operating standards.
- Oversee turf management, including mowing, irrigation, aeration, and pest and disease control.
- Maintain turf care equipment and conduct soil analysis.
- Implement plant nutrition programs and schedule seasonal maintenance activities.
- Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are followed.
- Liaise with management and clients on aesthetic and functional landscape goals.
- Set project timelines, monitor deliverables, and provide progress updates.
- Coach and support project team members with assigned tasks.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in horticulture, turf management, or a related field is required.
- Proven turf management and turf equipment operation experience is required.
- Strong knowledge of plant nutrition and soil analysis is required.
- At least five years of landscape or turf maintenance experience is required.
- Golf course, sports pitch, or five-star hotel experience is highly preferred.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills are required.
