Role Overview

  • Reson8 is hiring experienced Event Project Managers to support upcoming event projects in Qatar and Saudi Arabia from September to December 2026.
  • The ideal candidate should have strong experience managing live events, exhibitions, corporate shows, conferences, activations, and technical event productions.
  • This role requires someone who can lead projects from planning to execution while coordinating closely with clients, vendors, technical teams, crew bosses, team leads, and site operations teams.
  • The Project Manager must have a good understanding of lighting, sound, video, rigging, staging, scenic, fabrication, logistics, and event risk management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage event projects from planning, pre production, build up, rehearsal, show days, and dismantle.
  • Understand the project scope, technical requirements, timelines, deliverables, and client expectations.
  • Prepare and manage project schedules, manpower plans, task lists, production trackers, and daily site reports.
  • Coordinate with clients, agencies, vendors, venue teams, contractors, and internal production teams.
  • Track project progress and ensure all departments are aligned with the approved timeline.
  • Support procurement, vendor follow ups, logistics planning, crew deployment, and site readiness.
  • Manage event logistics, including crew movement, equipment delivery, transport schedules, loading and unloading plans, venue access, storage areas, permits, passes, accommodation coordination, and on site material movement.
  • Work closely with technical leads across lighting, sound, video, rigging, staging, scenic, fabrication, power, and show operations.
  • Review technical drawings, production layouts, build plans, and site execution documents.
  • Ensure all technical teams have the required information, access, approvals, tools, and manpower to complete their work.
  • Identify clashes between departments and resolve coordination issues before they impact delivery.
  • Lead site execution and act as the main point of coordination between production, technical, vendor, and client teams.

Required Experience

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in events, exhibitions, live shows, corporate events, AV production, or technical event delivery.
  • Previous experience managing event projects in Qatar, Saudi Arabia, or the GCC is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of event production workflows, site operations, and technical coordination.
  • Good working knowledge of lighting, sound, video, rigging, staging, scenic, fabrication, logistics, and power coordination.
  • Experience working with technical leads, crew bosses, vendors, and large on site teams.
  • Ability to read and understand production layouts, technical drawings, event schedules, and site plans.
  • Strong experience in managing build up, rehearsals, show days, and dismantle.
  • Good understanding of risk management and safety requirements during live event execution.
  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage tight event deadlines.
  • Manage client and vendor relationships professionally, ensuring clear communication, timely follow ups, issue resolution, and alignment between project expectations, site requirements, budgets, and delivery timelines.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with large format events, exhibitions, ceremonies, conferences, festivals, or immersive projects.
  • Understanding of AV systems, lighting fixtures, PA systems, LED screens, projection, rigging structures, and temporary event builds.
  • Experience using project trackers, production schedules, site reports, risk logs, and action lists.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, MS Project, Smartsheet, AutoCAD, Vectorworks, or similar production planning tools.
  • Ability to work with multicultural teams and international clients.
  • A GCC driving license will be an advantage.
  • Safety training, event safety certification, or first aid training will be an advantage.
