GMI Interior & Fitout is a fit-out contractor and interior design company operating across the GCC region from offices in Dubai.
The company delivers interior fit-out solutions for F&B outlets, luxury villas, retail spaces, and commercial developments.
Teams collaborate with clients, designers, and suppliers to deliver functional spaces within project and budget requirements.
Role Description
The Project Manager oversees interior fit-out projects from initiation to handover.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai.
The role ensures work is delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Define project plans, manage schedules, monitor progress, and resolve technical or operational issues.
- Coordinate daily with clients, designers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Prepare and review project documentation, track costs, and manage change orders.
- Maintain quality and safety standards, conduct site inspections, and chair progress meetings.
- Provide clear status reports to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Proven project management experience in interior fit-out or construction, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
- Knowledge of interior fit-out processes, materials, and methods for F&B, residential, retail, and commercial projects.
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications and ensure quality and safety compliance.
- Experience working on-site in the UAE with familiarity with local regulations and industry practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Word, and digital documentation tools.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and make decisions under time constraints.
- Professional fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
- UAE Driving License is mandatory.
