Role Description
- The Project Manager will oversee luxury retail fit out projects from initial concept through handover, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and to defined quality standards.
- Day to day responsibilities include planning project timelines, coordinating internal design and delivery teams, managing external contractors and suppliers, and monitoring progress against milestones.
- The role also involves handling expediting activities for materials and fixtures, organizing inspections, managing logistics related to site deliveries, and addressing risks and issues.
- The Project Manager will prepare status reports, maintain clear documentation, communicate with clients and stakeholders, and implement continuous improvements.
Qualifications
- Strong project management skills, including Project Management and related planning, coordination, and stakeholder communication capabilities.
- Experience in expediting functions, covering Expeditor and Expediting skills to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.
- Knowledge of inspection procedures, quality checks, and compliance, including Inspection skills for construction and fit out environments.
- Proficiency in Logistics Management to coordinate supply chain, deliveries, and site readiness for luxury retail projects.
- Prior experience in construction, interior fit out, or luxury retail projects, preferably in the Middle East.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional regional languages are an advantage.
- Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel, scheduling and documentation platforms).
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., PMP or equivalent) are a plus.
