About the Role
Descon Engineering seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead shutdown, turnaround, maintenance, and small EPC projects in Doha, Qatar. The role requires 10+ years of Oil & Gas experience and a Bachelor's in Engineering.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage shutdown, turnaround, maintenance, and small EPC projects from initiation through close out.
- Develop project execution plans, schedules, cost estimates, and resource allocation plans.
- Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
- Coach and support project team members with tasks you assign them.
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards, company procedures, and client requirements.
- Manage subcontractors, vendors, and site teams to achieve project objectives.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related)
- 10+ years of Oil & Gas experience
- Proven experience in Shutdown/Turnaround Projects, Brownfield Modifications, and Small to Medium EPC Projects
- Strong knowledge of project planning, cost control, risk management, and stakeholder management
- Experience working with major Oil & Gas operators in the GCC, preferably in Qatar
- PMP certification will be an advantage
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills

Overview
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.

Qualifications

- 10+ years of Oil & Gas experience, including project management roles
- Proven experience in Shutdown / Turnaround Projects, Brownfield Modifications, Small to Medium EPC Projects, Refinery, Petrochemical, LNG, Offshore, or Gas Processing Facilities
- Strong knowledge of project planning, cost control, risk management, and stakeholder management
- Experience working with major Oil & Gas operators in the GCC, preferably in Qatar
- PMP certification will be an advantage
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
