Scope

Our entity in the Middle East is present in Saudi Arabia, United Emirates, Oman with over a hundred and fifty employees developing projects, constructing & assets through dedicated Project companies and operating them to deliver the required performance.

The strong growth of our businesses and the size of our entities in the Middle East led us to structure our IT organization meanwhile implementing structural applications like an ERP solution, HRIS and other digital tools to improve our efficiency at work, along with end-to-end support.

Now, we need to address the challenges of our project and operation SPVs, facing needs related to their business activities.

This context requires to reinforce our team for Cybersecurity & OT topics.

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a

Project Manager for Cybersecurity & OT topics

to tackle the growing challenges faced by our project and operational SPVs in terms of

activity monitoring

and adherence to

strong cybersecurity standards

.

The selected candidate will play a key role in managing

Cybersecurity and OT-related initiatives

, ensuring both infrastructure integrity and operational excellence.

This position requires a highly skilled IT & OT professional who understands

infrastructure systems (preferably Power Plants), applications, and cybersecurity

, and can integrate new technologies to support business goals.

Reporting to the Head of IT, the project manager will work closely with group’s EDF power solutions Cybersecurity Team & partners on cybersecurity matters, especially to deploy group Cybersecurity standards within our project companies.

He will also manage the related projects to deploy any solutions to improve efficiency of our Operations activities.

The main activities and responsibilities include:

Cybersecurity

· Be part of the cybersecurity community in EDF power solutions.

Follow-up with group Cybersecurity department on key topics and new standards and engage with Project companies’ employees to ensure adherence, and track compliance throughout the portfolio.

· Champion cybersecurity best practices daily, by providing awareness on IT/OT security for project companies.

· Integrate IT security considerations into projects and manage the development, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of IT systems, while educating all personnel on IT security matters.

· Monitor and Support IT compliance with regulatory requirements, offer oversight, and manage the response to IT security events for our project companies.

Data Protection

Work closely with the group’s EDF power solutions Data Protection Office team

· Consults with the DPO when risks regarding personal data occur in his/her entity, in order to mitigate them

Entity’s GDPR (or equivalent local regulation) delegate

· Is responsible and accountable for the maintenance of the local privacy program by supporting local personnel

· Ensures that all GDPR (or equivalent local regulation) documentation and records are complete and up to date for its entity together with the DPO and the project owners

· Is the main point of contact for privacy concerns in the subsidiary

· Is consulted by the Local Data Processors when a privacy related event occurs

· Review the privacy notices of its entity and communicate it to the DPO for validation DPIA

· Identifies data privacy high risks within its entity and informs, consults or escalates these to the DPO, when appropriate.

· Helps the Local Data Processors to conduct a DPIA, when necessary and with the approval of the DPO

· After consultation with the DPO, confirm whether a mandatory prior consultation to the supervisory authority is needed to the project owner

Data Breach missions

· Responsible to evaluate if a data breach at local level reported by an employee or a third party might require notification to authorities or communication to data subjects, and to seek approval of the DPO.

· In charge of seeking validation of the DPO and Data Privacy Group via an emergency call for the qualification of the breach

· Responsible for helping the DPO to conduct notification to the supervisory authority and communication to affected individuals if needed

· Responsible for documentation as well as remediation plan and follow-up on these actions

Project Management

· Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.

· Manage project scope, schedule, resources, and risks, and provide regular status reports to stakeholders through an efficient project governance to facilitate

· Serve as the primary liaison between the business units and the IT department, ensuring clear communication and alignment of objectives and between the project team and the Corporate IT team in France (DSIN) which can provide expertise and occasional support (architecture, cybersecurity, interfaces with other IT systems…), and with Asset Operations Systems (AOS) organization of EDF power solutions.

· Ensure proper training and support are provided to users for a smooth transition and adoption of new systems.

Technology Integration

In collaboration with Corporate IT team, Evaluate, recommend, and onboard new technologies to modernize IT and OT systems, improving efficiency and security.

Collaboration Across Teams

Coordinate across IT departments, operational teams, external vendors, and senior leadership to ensure seamless project execution and communication.

Qualification

· Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

· Proven experience as a Project Manager, especially in industrial environment, preferably in Power plant industry.

· Strong background on Cybersecurity, OT systems and SCADA functionalities

· Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.

· Experience in change management

· Fluency in English is required; knowledge of the local language(s) of the Middle East hub and/or French is a plus.

· Experience in energy or industrial organizations, working in a multinational environment, particularly in the Middle East.

· Willingness to travel as required for project needs and to engage with different stakeholders across the hub.
