Project Manager (Construction)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily project activities from initiation to handover.
• Monitor schedules, timelines, and work progress.
• Communicate with clients about updates, approvals, and changes.
• Coordinate architects, engineers, site supervisors, and subcontractors.
• Ensure materials, labor, and resources are available on site.
• Track budgets, expenses, and billing schedules.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain project documentation.
• Conduct site visits to monitor quality, safety, and compliance.
• Identify risks and delays and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate vendors and suppliers for timely procurement.
• Assist with permits and approvals from local authorities.
• Ensure execution meets company standards and client expectations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 4–5 years of experience in construction project coordination or site management.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and execution stages.
• Knowledge of estimation, BOQ, and project scheduling.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and project tracking tools.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• A valid driving license is preferred.
• Experience with residential villa and interior fit-out projects is preferred.
• Knowledge of Kerala market rates and vendor management is preferred.
• Basic understanding of structural drawings, MEP coordination, and client handling is preferred.

Pay and Benefits

• Pay is ₹15,000–₹30,000 per month.
