Stantec are busy in Sydney working on a wide range of health care, data centre, commercial, defence, industrial and educational building projects. We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to support our multidisciplined group with delivering Buildings projects.
The Project Manager role is key in maximising the performance of projects and is focussed in three principle areas, namely business discipline, customer relationship management and leading high performing project delivery teams.

Day to day tasks would involve: • Be accountable for project set-up, all project management documentation and associated filing from start to completion • Represent Stantec externally to Clients, playing a senior and active role in managing these relationships and generate repeat business • Drive contract execution on all projects in line with Stantec processes. • Demonstrate a high degree of technical knowledge, providing oversight and supervision to ensure successful project delivery. • Support and offer guidance to Engineers and Graduates to enable them to perform successfully at all levels. • Support Campaign and Proposal staff to identify project opportunities and prepare proposal material with a focus on Stantec's Project Management Framework • Monitor and control the delivery of project tasks to ensure delivery is in line with project plans, scope, budgets, schedule, and client requirements • Ensure Pipeline data is up to date with respect to pursuits, opportunities and existing engagements to accurately reflect hard and soft backlog
To be successful for this role you'll need: • Hold a bachelor of Engineering or other relevant discipline • Experience working in delivering successful projects within a consulting environment • Proven track record in managing project delivery, schedules, and budgets. Experience with industry-standard scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and relevant PM certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2)—or the drive to obtain them—is highly regarded • Knowledge of the Building Code of Australia and relevant Australian Standards • Willingness to establish and maintain strong client relationships to formulate repeat opportunities • Strong Technical knowledge within the Building services industry • Ability to multitask between project involvement, lead multi-disciplinary teams • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Positive, can-do attitude, team player and strong work ethic
