Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Business Analyst with solid experience in the Banking or Capital Markets domain to join our team.
This role combines strong project leadership with in-depth business analysis and client consultation responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end project management, business requirement analysis, stakeholder coordination, and delivering professional business support and consultation throughout the product and service lifecycle.
This is a client-facing role that requires a confident communicator with the ability to understand and translate business needs into technical requirements, manage service delivery, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, plan, and manage full project lifecycle activities, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Direct and monitor ongoing support and service delivery to meet client expectations.
- Act as the primary liaison between business users and technical teams to gather, analyse, and document requirements.
- Provide professional business consultations to clients on domain-specific practices, process improvements, and best-fit solutions.
- Prepare and maintain detailed business and functional documentation.
- Proactively track and follow up on project progress, issue resolution, and change requests with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including technical, QA, and operations to align project objectives and deliverables.
- Facilitate client workshops, training sessions, and system demonstrations.
- Ensure proper escalation and resolution of risks and issues during project and support phases.
- Identify gaps in current client processes and propose improvements or automation where applicable.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Management and Business Analysis, preferably in the Banking or Capital Markets sector.
- Strong understanding of banking operations, capital market instruments, offer processes, and regulatory environments.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and client engagements simultaneously.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a consultative mindset.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in preparing BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and support documentation.
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies (Agile/Waterfall).
- Flexibility to travel and work on-site at client locations as per project needs.
- Experience working with GCC clients or within GCC corporate culture is an advantage.
- Working knowledge of relevant AI applications is a must.
