Responsibilities
- Serve as focal point for customer and company ambassador as project manager
- Ensure proper alignment with customer expectations to ensure full satisfaction
- Review contract details and align requirements with execution plan and budget
- Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
- Define and manage contracts with vendors and suppliers
- Track project costs to meet budget
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders
- Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
- Conduct lessons learned sessions at project completion
- Support tendering by reviewing technical aspects of tenders/contracts

Requirements
- B.Sc. in Mechanical / Aeronautical / Marine Engineering
- Minimum of 5+ years in a similar role and/or equivalent technical and site management experience
- Experience in maintenance / relocation / new built activities on heavy duty GE type of Gas Turbines Frames 3, 5, 6, 6FA, 7/9E and 7/9FA
- Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic
- Technical and mechanical knowledge of gas turbines and its related equipment
- Leadership capabilities (site management)
- Proficient in MS Office tools, especially MS Project and Excel

Objective of the Position
- Project manage field service activities on heavy duty GE gas turbines Frame 3, 5, 6, 6FA, 7/9E and 7/9FA for our customers.
- Serve as single point of contact to customers at their plants for all aspects of outage service work.
- Includes budgeting, planning, scheduling, coordination of internal and external resources, process development, and alignment with technical advisor for site execution.
Primary Responsibilities
- Focal point for customer and to be the company ambassador as project manager.
- Ensure proper alignment with the customer expectations to ensure full satisfaction.
- Review contract details and align the requirements with execution plan and budget.
- Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.
- Define and manage contracts with vendors and suppliers to meet expected deliverables.
- Track project costs in order to meet the budget.
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders.
- Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct lessons learned sessions at the completion of the project.
- Support tendering by reviewing technical aspects of tenders/contracts.
- Identify and secure local resources to support site works.
Specific Tasks
- At hand over from Sales/Commercial department, review final contract document and confirm agreement on deliverables with Lead Engineer.
- Assume full responsibility for the delivery of the allocated project(s) scope.
- Prepare, maintain and execute the Project (Execution) Plan and Quality Plan including Risk Assessment.
- Develop and secure necessary resources for the execution of the project.
- Constantly monitor and report key performance indicators (KPI).
- Constantly update and review the risk and opportunities of the Project.
- Ensure regular reporting of the project status to management and to the customer.
- Develop and monitor the Master Time Schedule.
- Initiate and execute claim management towards customers if necessary.
- Ensure continuous improvement by proper reporting and follow up of non conformities.
- Review customer technical requirements and align with engineering and tender teams.
- Define and establish a local supply chain to support area local activities.
Competencies
- Education: B.Sc. in Mechanical / Aeronautical / Marine Engineering.
- Additional Training: Gas Turbine Technology, Maintenance engineering, Basic IT tools.
- Fully proficient in English and Arabic.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in a similar role and/or equivalent technical and site management experience.
- Experience in maintenance / relocation / new built activities on heavy duty GE type of Gas Turbines Frames 3, 5, 6, 6FA, 7/9E and 7/9FA.
