• The role:
• HPL One is hiring a Project Logistics Supervisor for our Dubai team.
• You will own pricing and execution.
• You will make sure what we quote is safe and sound, and what we win moves on time, on margin, and to standard.
• This is a hands-on, field-and-desk role.
• Quayside, factory, and site; not behind a screen.
• You will own:
• Pricing.
• Heavy-lift, breakbulk, OOG, FCL, LCL, FTL, barge, and multi-modal combinations.
• Rate sourcing and negotiation with ocean carriers, hauliers, port agents, stevedores, crane and SPMT providers, customs brokers, and surveyors.
• Transparent cost models that survive EPC, OEM, and end-customer scrutiny and stay defensible under scope change.
• Operations.
• End-to-end execution from factory gate to foundation.
• Cargo readiness, multi-supplier consolidation, warehousing, export clearance, stuffing and lashing, vessel loading, discharge supervision, inland heavy transport, and final documentation.
• You will be on the ground at Jebel Ali, Khalifa Port, and Hamriyah (and overseas as required), at factory yards, and at project sites, supervising supercargo, stevedoring, lashing, and inland transport operations in person.
• Transport Engineering Interface.
• Method statements, lifting plans, route surveys, stowage and lashing calculations, and risk assessments, coordinated with our Transport Engineering team.
• Standards.
• HSSEQ discipline on every file.
• Zero Harm mindset on every project.
• Who we are looking for:
• Five or more years in project freight forwarding, with direct, hands-on responsibility for heavy-lift, breakbulk, and out-of-gauge moves
• Multi-modal pricing across heavy-lift MPV, breakbulk, container, RoRo, SPMT and low-bed, modular trailers, barge, and air freight
• Comfortable coordinating, reviewing, and challenging method statements, route surveys, lifting plans, and stowage and lashing calculations produced by engineering and survey partners
• Working knowledge of UAE & GCC ports, customs procedures, free zone operations, and the regional crane and heavy transport market
• Comfortable defending quotations face to face with EPC contractors, OEMs, and end-customers
• Genuine Zero Harm operating mindset; ISO 9001, 14001, or 45001 exposure is an advantage
