Role Overview
Responsible for the development, tracking and execution of projects within the Portfolio. The Project Leader is accountable to ensure all tasks and requirements related to projects are delivered through leading of various cross-functional teams and through timely escalation as required.
Collaborate with Stakeholders and all functional areas across the business to achieve successful project execution. Provide status updates to the Manager as required and notification of any potential project delays/risks as they arise. Works directly with other department staff both internally and externally to capture and report on their projects.

Job Summary

Job Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate a team in the planning, execution and delivery of the Project Portfolio. Track and monitor progress of assigned projects to meet cycle time goals, project deadlines and customer requirements.
- Demonstrates customer focus, understanding of customer needs, building of relationships and collaborating with others. Communicates plans & priorities to functional departments.
- Highlights and escalates critical issues and risks that may affect the critical path during the execution of the Project to the Associate Director MS&T
- Recognizes problems and takes the appropriate corrective action, consulting with the relevant individuals.
