Responsibilities
- Analyze sketches, concept designs, shop drawings, and BOQs to determine project scope
- Prepare detailed material take offs (MDF, plywood, veneer, laminates, hardware, finishes, etc.)
- Calculate accurate costs based on current UAE market rates for materials, labor, and subcontracting
- Factor in production time, installation requirements, and site conditions
- Prepare and deliver fast, accurate, and professional quotations
- Ensure all quotes are commercially competitive while maintaining margins
- Revise quotations quickly based on client feedback or design changes
- Work closely with sales to improve win rates through smarter pricing
- Source up to date pricing from suppliers and vendors
- Build and maintain a reliable supplier network for competitive rates
- Stay updated on market fluctuations in materials and labor costs
- Interpret drawings and identify missing details or potential costing risks
Requirements
- 3+ years experience as an estimator in joinery, fit out, or carpentry works
- Strong understanding of joinery materials and finishes, manufacturing processes and installation methods
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and sketches
- Proven experience in material take offs and cost estimation
- Strong proficiency in Excel (fast and accurate)
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver quotations quickly without errors

Role Overview
- We’re looking for a sharp, fast thinking Project Estimator who can take a sketch, mockup, or drawing and turn it into a clear, accurate, and profitable quotation, quickly.
Key Responsibilities Estimation & Costing
- Analyze sketches, concept designs, shop drawings, and BOQs to determine project scope
- Prepare detailed material take offs (MDF, plywood, veneer, laminates, hardware, finishes, etc.)
- Calculate accurate costs based on current UAE market rates for materials, labor, and subcontracting
- Factor in production time, installation requirements, and site conditions
Quotation Management
- Prepare and deliver fast, accurate, and professional quotations
- Ensure all quotes are commercially competitive while maintaining margins
- Revise quotations quickly based on client feedback or design changes
- Work closely with sales to improve win rates through smarter pricing
Supplier & Market Coordination
- Source up to date pricing from suppliers and vendors
- Build and maintain a reliable supplier network for competitive rates
- Stay updated on market fluctuations in materials and labor costs
Technical Coordination
- Interpret drawings and identify missing details or potential costing risks
- Coordinate with production and site teams to validate feasibility
- Highlight cost saving opportunities without compromising quality
Requirements
- 3+ years experience as an estimator in joinery, fit out, or carpentry works
- Strong understanding of joinery materials and finishes, manufacturing processes and installation methods

Compensation
- Pay: AED 3,000.00 AED 4,000.00 per month
