Step into a pivotal technical leadership role supporting complex mining projects across the full EPC and EPCM lifecycle.
As Project Engineering Manager in our Resources subsector, you will lead multidisciplinary engineering execution, strengthen collaboration and help deliver safe, innovative and technically excellent solutions for concentrators, mills and related mining infrastructure.
You will bring clarity to complex technical decisions, strengthen engineering controls and help teams deliver high-quality outcomes.
Your Impact
- Lead multidisciplinary engineering execution for complex mining projects, ensuring quality, coordination and alignment with project objectives.
- Guide technical decision-making, resolve complex engineering issues and maintain strong engineering controls across the project lifecycle.
- Plan, staff and monitor engineering work to support schedules, budgets, productivity and milestone delivery.
- Build strong relationships with clients, discipline leads, project management, project controls and construction teams to enable clear, efficient communication.
- Promote WSP’s quality, HSE and project procedures while fostering innovation, continuous improvement and technical excellence.
The Skills That Set You Apart
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- Professional Engineer, P.Eng., status in a Canadian province.
- At least 15 years of relevant engineering experience, including leadership and supervisory responsibilities in the mining sector.
- Substantial experience delivering projects involving concentrators and mills.
- Broad experience executing multidisciplinary engineering work on large and complex projects across the complete EPC and EPCM lifecycle.
- Demonstrated field engineering experience, including the ability to lead and manage field engineering teams.
- A record of implementing innovative approaches that improve engineering execution, productivity, work processes and technical outcomes.
- Strong knowledge of engineering quality, interdisciplinary coordination, project controls, staffing, forecasting, technical reporting and stakeholder communication.

Compensation
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $122,900 - $162,000 MB & ON: $112,100 - $154,400 NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $111,000 - $147,400
