Providing engineering and technical expertise on multi-disciplinary projects
Assisting in project management, including budget tracking and client communication
Participating in studies, assessments, modeling, preliminary and detailed design
Contributing to reports, drawings, and other engineering documents
Preparing designs for municipal road reconstructions, water/sewer systems, site grading, and stormwater management
Communicating with clients, consultants, and contractors under supervision
Supporting business development initiatives
Collaborating with project teams to meet deadlines and budgets
Prepare tender and contract documents, including specifications, quantities, and construction estimates.
Mentoring junior engineers and technologists as needed
Qualifications
University Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution
4-14 years of experience in municipal/transportation design engineering, with some consulting experience preferred
P.Eng., or eligibility for registration in Ontario
Project Management experience considered an asset
Ability to develop positive relationships with staff and clients
Experience in meeting project timelines and budgets
Good technical writing and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Compensation Range
The salary range for this position is: $85,000.00 - $135,000.00
Compensation for this role will be determined based on a variety of factors, including relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business needs.
