The Opportunity

Primary Engineering Deliverables

• Prepare substation layouts, section drawings, grounding system drawings, lightning system designs, and cable routings.
• Prepare cable tray routings, clearance drawings, bills of materials, and requests for quotation.
• Verify technical data sheets for primary equipment and evaluate vendor offers.
• Support FAT and SAT activities for primary equipment and systems when required.
• Perform technical risk and opportunity assessments and identify ways to reduce engineering effort.
• Plan, implement, review, and improve quality systems and operational excellence initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Technical Background

• A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• The role requests 8–10 years of experience and at least 5–10 years in substation tendering and project engineering activities.
• Knowledge of AIS and GIS projects and international standards such as IEC, IEEE, and AS is required.
• Proficiency in CAD and BIM tools such as BIM 360, Navisworks, MicroStation, AutoCAD, and AutoCAD Revit is required.
• The role requires independent work on complex or specialized projects and the ability to challenge traditional solutions.
