Position Purpose
Join Veolia's energy services team in New York City as a Project Engineer.
Survey, design, install, oversee, and commission metering equipment and data-gathering hardware.
Provide technical support for build and assembly activities, system start-ups, training, and continuous improvement.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Commission and start up utility-grade metering equipment.
- Engineer and design advanced metering systems to meet customer objectives.
- Review project, equipment, and design plans for specification compliance.
- Conduct on-site surveys and walkthroughs with personnel, contractors, and engineering teams.
- Perform laboratory testing for process troubleshooting and optimization.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously over extended periods.
- Troubleshoot, inspect, and rebuild existing equipment in field environments.
- Prepare technical documentation, procedures, memoranda, and reports.
- Oversee contractor work and provide technical support during project phases.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a related field is required.
