Role Overview
Plan, coordinate, and supervise interior fit-out and joinery projects from project award through handover.
Project Coordination
- Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, scope of work, and contract requirements.
- Coordinate with project management, site, design, planning, procurement, QA/QC, HSE, commercial, and other departments.
- Monitor daily project progress against the approved project schedule.
- Coordinate RFIs, drawing discrepancies, technical issues, and site requirements.
Drawings and Submittals
- Review and coordinate architectural, interior design, shop drawings, and MEP coordination drawings.
- Monitor material submittals, shop drawings, technical submissions, inspections, and consultant approvals.
Site and Quality Management
- Supervise subcontractors and ensure work follows approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and quality requirements.
- Coordinate material requirements, deliveries, approvals, and installation with procurement and site teams.
- Conduct regular site inspections and verify workmanship and compliance with project specifications.
- Coordinate with QA/QC and HSE teams to maintain quality and safety standards.
Progress and Stakeholder Reporting
- Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractor performance.
- Identify project risks, delays, technical issues, and site constraints and coordinate corrective actions.
- Prepare daily and weekly progress reports for the Project Manager.
- Attend site, coordination, consultant, and client meetings as required.
Requirements
- Experience coordinating and supervising interior fit-out and joinery projects from project award through handover.
- Ability to review project drawings, specifications, BOQs, scope of work, and contract requirements.
- Ability to coordinate architectural, interior design, shop drawings, and MEP coordination drawings.
- Ability to coordinate RFIs, technical issues, site requirements, material approvals, and consultant approvals.
- Ability to ensure work complies with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, quality requirements, and safety standards.
