Al Shirawi Interiors is seeking a Project Engineer - Fitout to manage the profitability and technical aspects of interior fit-out projects.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Prepare, schedule, forecast, coordinate and monitor all the technical activity involved in the assigned projects aiming at assuring project accuracy/quality from conception to completion.
- Monitor and follow up on the procurement requirements for the project.
- Be responsible for all engineering and technical disciplines that projects involve.
- Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications.
- Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field.
- Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel's performance) and report regularly on project status.
- Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support.
- Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
Must have skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 7+ years of relevant experience as a Project Engineer in interior fit-out projects.
