DesignFlo Interior Decoration LLC is seeking an experienced Project Engineer for interior fit-out projects.
The role manages and coordinates project execution from mobilization through completion and handover.
The position requires 5–7 years of proven interior fit-out experience.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 7,000–10,000 per month.
Work Location
- Work is performed in person at project sites.
Project Execution
- Manage and supervise day-to-day interior fit-out project execution.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor site activities against approved schedules.
- Identify delays, take corrective action, and support completion on time, within budget, and to required quality and safety standards.
- Coordinate project managers, designers, MEP engineers, QA/QC, site supervisors, clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
Technical Coordination
- Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, specifications, BOQs, and project requirements.
- Coordinate architectural, civil, joinery, and MEP works to avoid clashes and delays.
- Ensure work follows approved drawings, method statements, material approvals, and project specifications.
- Resolve technical and site issues with the project manager and relevant departments.
Progress, Materials, and Quality
- Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and attend client, consultant, and site coordination meetings.
- Coordinate material requirements with purchasing and logistics teams and minimize material wastage.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor workmanship, subcontractor performance, manpower allocation, and productivity.
- Coordinate WIRs, MIRs, inspections, snagging, de-snagging, testing, commissioning, and final rectification.
Safety and Handover
- Ensure site works comply with HSE requirements and applicable safety regulations.
- Coordinate project variations and additional works with supporting documentation.
- Protect completed works until handover.
- Assist with as-built drawings, O&M documents, project handover documentation, and successful project completion.
Candidate Profile
- Have 5–7 years of proven experience in interior fit-out projects.
- Bring strong technical knowledge of fit-out works and strong site management capabilities.
- Be able to coordinate project stakeholders, subcontractors, suppliers, site workforce, materials, inspections, and approvals.
- Be able to manage quality, safety, schedules, variations, closeout, and handover documentation.
