The Opportunity
Support delivery of EHV infrastructure projects across the electricity distribution network.
Manage projects through feasibility, optioneering, design, construction, commissioning and final handover.
Work on complex infrastructure projects at voltage levels from 11kV to 132kV.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver EHV substation projects from concept through to completion.
- Support plant replacement, reinforcement and customer connection schemes across 11kV, 33kV, 66kV and 132kV networks.
- Develop and review engineering solutions, feasibility studies and project options.
- Coordinate design, procurement, installation, testing and commissioning activities.
- Manage project programmes, costs, risks and resource requirements.
- Ensure compliance with technical standards, safety legislation, CDM requirements and quality processes.
- Interface with customers, contractors, suppliers and key stakeholders.
- Support outage planning and network access arrangements where required.
- Monitor project progress and maintain project documentation, asset records and technical data.
- Support continuous improvement and engineering best practice.
