The Project Engineer role at SED is a full time, on site position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
This role is responsible for managing engineering aspects of steel and metal related projects, including project planning, design coordination, and technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
Day to day tasks include preparing and reviewing engineering drawings and documentation, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, monitoring project progress, and ensuring compliance with technical standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.
The Project Engineer will participate in site visits, assist in resolving technical issues, support installation and commissioning activities, and prepare reports on project status, risks, and key decisions.
The role involves close collaboration with project managers, design engineers, and suppliers to ensure timely and quality delivery of project milestones.

Candidates should possess strong Project Engineering and Electrical Engineering skills relevant to steel and metal applications.
Candidates should possess Project Management and Project Planning skills for scheduling, resource coordination, and progress tracking.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and vendors.
Candidates should possess technical proficiency with engineering design tools, CAD software, and relevant industry standards.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil) or a related field; professional certifications are an advantage.
Experience in steel structures, metal fabrication, or industrial projects, ideally within the UAE or GCC region, is beneficial.
Strong problem solving abilities, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and quality.
Ability to work on site in Dubai, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
