Role Overview
The employer is seeking a Project Engineer or Civil Engineer to support construction and engineering projects in Dubai.
The role combines technical engineering, site coordination, project execution, and problem-solving.
Role Responsibilities
- Coordinate civil engineering and construction activities from planning through completion.
- Review drawings, specifications, technical documents, and project requirements.
- Monitor progress, schedules, materials, and resource utilization.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Conduct site inspections and verify compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Identify technical issues and provide practical engineering solutions.
- Monitor construction quality and compliance with project standards.
- Support planning, cost control, and progress reporting.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and project updates.
- Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and UAE regulations.
- Coordinate testing, inspections, approvals, and handover activities.
- Support project managers in achieving schedule, cost, and quality objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 3–7+ years of relevant engineering or construction experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, and site operations.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and relevant engineering or project tools.
- Understanding of project planning, scheduling, and cost control.
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- UAE or GCC construction experience is an advantage.
- Professional engineering certification or membership is a plus.
