Project Engineer (Automation & Instrumentation)

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering from a reputed institute. 2-3 years of proven experience in PLC programming and SCADA system development in an industrial environment. Proficiency in programming PLCs from at least one of the major manufacturers (e.g., Rockwell Automation/Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider Electric). Experience with SCADA/HMI software development (e.g., Wonderware (AVEVA), Ignition, Rockwell FactoryTalk View, Siemens WinCC). Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus TCP/IP, Ethernet/IP, Profibus, PROFINET). Familiarity with industrial networking concepts and hardware. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs and control philosophies. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for details. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with clients. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively to meet project deadlines. Willingness to travel to client sites for commissioning and support, as required.
