Role Description
This part-time remote Project Engineer role at Rim Haute Couture focuses on supporting technical and operational projects that enable innovative fashion design and production.
The Project Engineer will coordinate and execute engineering tasks, including project planning, requirements gathering, and tracking milestones across multiple initiatives.
Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams (design, production, and operations), preparing technical documentation, and assisting with process improvements and systems integration.
The role also involves reviewing technical specifications, supporting the setup and maintenance of electrical or automated equipment where relevant, and identifying risks or issues that may impact timelines or quality.
The Project Engineer will report on project status, support stakeholder communication, and contribute to efficient, reliable, and safe project delivery in a remote environment.
Qualifications
- Strong project leadership skills, including Project Engineering and Project Management, to coordinate tasks, timelines, and technical deliverables.
- Demonstrated ability in Project Planning to define scope, schedule work, track progress, and manage resources effectively.
- Excellent Communication skills for collaborating with remote teams, documenting requirements, and providing clear updates to stakeholders.
- Foundational knowledge in Electrical Engineering or related engineering disciplines, with the ability to interpret technical specifications and support equipment or system-related projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or related field) or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment, with strong self-organization and time management abilities.
- Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello, Jira, or similar software).
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on quality and safety in all project activities.
