Role Overview
Provide technical and engineering support across the project lifecycle for rotating equipment packages.
Ensure designs, specifications, and vendor deliverables comply with project requirements, industry codes, and client standards.
Coordinate engineering, procurement, vendors, and construction to deliver rotating equipment packages on schedule, within budget, and to required quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical engineering activities for pumps, compressors, turbines, blowers, and associated auxiliaries.
- Review vendor datasheets, drawings, performance curves, material certificates, ITPs, and O&M manuals.
- Prepare technical specifications, Material Requisitions, and Technical Bid Evaluations.
- Coordinate interdisciplinary issues affecting rotating equipment installation and performance.
- Coordinate FATs, witness testing, and vendor shop inspections.
- Support HAZOP, SIL, and other safety reviews.
- Monitor vendor engineering progress and resolve delays or non-conformances.
- Manage vendor technical queries and technical clarifications.
- Support installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and technical troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and client or project specifications.
