Project Engineer

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Assist with project planning, scheduling, and coordination.
• Review project specifications, drawings, and contracts for compliance.
• Coordinate technical issue resolution with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Procure materials, equipment, and services required for project activities.
• Monitor progress, inspect work quality, and mitigate risks or delays.
• Maintain reports, drawings, change orders, RFIs, and other project documentation.
• Assist with cost estimation, budget management, and financial reporting.
• Coordinate permits, approvals, and inspections with regulatory agencies.
• Communicate project status and concerns to stakeholders and participate in project meetings.

Experience and Education

• Minimum 8 years of work experience, including 5 years of relevant experience.
• Two years of GCC experience is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering.
• Professional MMUP Engineer Registration (UPDA).

Knowledge and Skills

• Proficiency in construction project management methodologies and techniques.
• Strong understanding of construction principles, techniques, and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
• ERP knowledge, preferably SAP.
• Relevant competencies include agility, AI fluency, resilience, quality, leadership, project planning, construction budgeting, commercial and residential construction, contingency workforce management, and project management.
