Responsibilities
- Provide overarching direction and strategic leadership to a multidisciplinary engineering, supervision, and project controls team
- Act as the main point of contact and trusted advisor for senior client representatives, ministries, PIF entities, and local municipalities
- Direct resident engineers and discipline leads in monitoring contractor performance
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including master timelines, resource allocations, and procurement strategies
- Interpret and administer complex construction contracts, managing variations, Extension of Time claims, and contractor invoices
- Drive rigorous risk management processes
- Develop and execute project Safety Initiatives to reinforce a zero harm culture
- Produce high level Monthly Reports and executive dashboards
Requirements
- Degree in BSc Engineering or Construction Management
- 20 years of experience in Building Construction Projects
- Experience in using EDMS Software, e.g. Aconex
- Well versed with MS Office Applications
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Valid Membership Saudi Council of Engineers Certificate
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are advantageous

The Role
- We are seeking an experienced Project Director to lead and oversee large scale projects in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
- The role provides overall direction, leadership, and governance to ensure project objectives related to schedule, cost, quality, safety, sustainability, and stakeholder satisfaction are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute 'hand over' procedures from the Early Works Supervision Consultant, ensuring a seamless transition into main construction phases.
- Provide overarching direction and strategic leadership to a multidisciplinary engineering, supervision, and project controls team.
- Act as the main point of contact and trusted advisor for senior client representatives, ministries, PIF entities, and local municipalities.
- Direct resident engineers and discipline leads in monitoring contractor performance against method statements, ITPs, and world class quality benchmarks.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including master timelines (IMS), resource allocations, and procurement strategies.
- Interpret and administer complex construction contracts, managing variations, Extension of Time (EoT) claims, and contractor invoices.
- Drive rigorous risk management processes, managing the integrated risk register, contingency drawdown logic, and forecasting accuracy.
- Develop and execute project Safety Initiatives to strictly reinforce a 'Zero Tolerance' and zero harm culture on site.
- Produce high level Monthly Reports and executive dashboards capturing project status, contract milestones, budget updates, and strategic risks or opportunities.
Requirements
