Role Description
Lead major projects from planning through completion while delivering within scope, budget, and schedule.
Oversee project teams, resources, stakeholders, risks, and overall project performance.
Project Delivery Responsibilities
- Lead project planning, execution, and completion and develop schedules, budgets, delivery plans, forecasts, and reports.
- Manage scope, resources, costs, timelines, KPIs, milestones, progress, and deliverables.
- Lead project managers, engineers, consultants, contractors, and project teams.
- Coordinate with clients, management, and key stakeholders.
Controls and Coordination
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, delays, and mitigation actions.
- Oversee budgets, forecasts, cost control, quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate procurement, subcontractors, materials, and resources.
- Manage changes, approvals, claims, and contractual matters.
- Resolve technical, commercial, and operational issues and improve project processes and team performance.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Extensive project management and senior leadership experience.
- Experience managing large-scale or complex projects.
- Strong knowledge of planning, scheduling, budgeting, cost control, contracts, procurement, risk, and quality management.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Good commercial and financial awareness and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Tools and Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification is advantageous.
- Knowledge of UAE/GCC project practices is preferred.
