Salary
- Salary range: 400,000–500,000 AED, inclusive of basic salary, accommodation, and transport.
Role Overview
Kaplan is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the establishment and launch of a UK university campus and higher education institution in Dubai.
The role will scope, structure, and drive the end-to-end delivery required to operationalise the institution.
The successful candidate will shape academic, operational, and regulatory foundations while working with senior leaders, international partners, and government stakeholders.
What You’ll Bring to the Role
- Lead the creation of a new higher education institution and manage large-scale, cross-functional setup activities in Dubai or the UAE.
- Apply practical knowledge of local regulatory, licensing, contractor, and operational approval processes.
- Coordinate delivery across education, institutional setup, infrastructure, and complex multi-stakeholder environments.
Qualifications
- Experience with UK higher education institutions or transnational education.
- Minimum 8 years of programme or project management experience, with at least 4–6 years leading complex setups within Dubai or the UAE.
- Proven experience leading large-scale cross-functional initiatives in Dubai or the UAE.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- PMP or equivalent programme/project management certification is desirable.
- Arabic language skills are an advantage.
