- Overall leadership, strategic direction, execution, and successful delivery of large scale oil & gas projects throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover activities while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, schedule, budget, and contractual requirements.
- Serve as the primary interface with clients, stakeholders, contractors, and executive management.
Requirements
- Minimum Overall 25+ years of oil & gas experience.
- Experience in Oil & Gas EPC projects.
- Experience working on Gas Pipeline projects.
- Experience working on multi billion dollar projects.
- Experience working on associated and non associated sour gas treatment projects.
- Experience in Pipeline, Common Utilities and Infrastructure development in Gas Processing plants.
- Must have at least 10+ Years experience working in offshore projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering is a MUST.
- Minimum 8–10 years in senior project management or project director roles.
- Proven track record delivering large scale EPC/EPCM projects valued at USD 500M+ to multi billion dollar projects.
- Extensive experience in managing multinational project teams and contractors.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred.

Job Summary
- KBR is looking for a Project Director with mega EPC project experience, to be based in Abu Dhabi Offshore Site 6/3 Rotation for a PMC project.
- The Project Director is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, execution, and successful delivery of large scale oil & gas projects throughout the project lifecycle. This role oversees engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover activities while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, schedule, budget, and contractual requirements. The Project Director serves as the primary interface with clients, stakeholders, contractors, and executive management.
Certifications (Preferred)
- PMP (Project Management Professional)
- PMI SP, PgMP, or equivalent
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Professional Engineer (PE)
- NEBOSH or relevant HSE certification
