Role Description
The Project Director is a part-time, remote role overseeing sustainability and impact-focused projects.
The role supports project delivery, stakeholder coordination, reporting, decision-making, and improvement of project management practices.
Project Leadership
- Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery.
- Define project objectives and scope, and develop timelines and resource plans.
- Coordinate activities across internal teams, partners, and stakeholders.
- Monitor milestones, manage risks and issues, and keep projects on budget.
- Ensure projects align with organizational priorities.
Reporting and Collaboration
- Prepare concise reports and presentations.
- Facilitate virtual meetings and support decision-making through data-driven insights.
- Improve project management practices and foster a collaborative, inclusive culture.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience leading multi-stakeholder initiatives through planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage budgets, timelines, resources, and multiple priorities in a remote, part-time setting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including risk assessment and practical recommendations.
- Proficiency with digital collaboration, project tracking, and virtual meeting tools.
Education and Domain Experience
- Experience in sustainability or social impact is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with Indian regulatory and business contexts is beneficial.
- A relevant degree in management, environmental studies, engineering, social sciences, or a related discipline is required.
- Advanced qualifications are an advantage.
Work Arrangement
- The role is remote and part-time.
