Project Development Manager

Carboline is seeking a strategic and collaborative Project Development Manager in the Northeast with candidates ideally located in the New York City, Philadelphia, or Pittsburgh metro areas to effectively support the assigned territory.

This role will require a proactive approach to drive major project growth through early engagement with engineers, architects, EPCs, and other key influencers.

This role leads cross-functional teams to ensure Carboline is specified early in the design cycle and delivers winning outcomes.

Ideal candidates bring strong leadership, influencing skills, excellent communication, and analytical expertise—especially in pipeline management with a proactive approach to drive major project growth through early engagement with engineers, architects, EPCs, and other key influencers.

• Bachelor’s degree or technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience with a proven track record in project selling and specification influence.
• Strong leadership and coordination skills across cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation abilities.
• Analytical mindset with pipeline management expertise (Salesforce experience preferred).
• Valid driver’s license.

• Minimal physical activity; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Extended computer usage (up to 8 hours/day).
• Occasional exposure to chemicals.
• Travel by car or air up to 50%, including overnight stays.
