Project Coordinator

• Source projects to bid through local associations and online bidding sites
• Work closely with estimators, architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers in preparing cost estimates
• Interpret architectural and engineering plans to estimate material quantities and project costs
• Develop and maintain "Take-Off Lists" outlining required project components
• Conduct cost analysis and risk assessments for project feasibility
• Track changes in project design to evaluate cost implications and assist in preparing major change orders
• Support the preparation and processing of initial project estimates
• Send quote requests to subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive bids
• Review and document project addenda and note adjustments affecting cost
• Participate in site visits to assess project conditions, verify material quantities, and gain field experience
• Assist in developing cost reports, project budgets, and financial forecasts
• Utilize estimating software and digital tools to improve accuracy and efficiency

• Strong analytical and logical thinking skills, with excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with project stakeholders
• High level of organizational skills to manage multiple aspects of construction projects
• Basic understanding of construction processes and the ability to read blueprints
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Competency with Microsoft Office and estimating/cost-analysis software, with a willingness to learn new systems
• Flexible and adaptable, capable of working in a dynamic environment
