Position Summary
The role supports payment solution project implementations and is responsible for delivery and acceptance of high-quality solutions.
The project professional works with NCR and customer resources, completes project-plan tasks, and serves as NCR’s customer point of contact.
Project Delivery
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and within customer expectations for quality and functionality.
- Prepare schedules and support scoping, planning, costing, pricing, statement of work development, and risk assessment.
- Manage customer acceptance and lead resolution of issues and action items.
- Establish responsibility matrices, personnel plans, and resource schedules.
Reporting and Financial Control
- Track, evaluate, and communicate progress against project schedules using project reports, financials, and compliance reporting.
- Prepare weekly status reports for review with the customer in status meetings.
- Ensure accurate monthly forecasts and billings and manage contractor procurement and payments.
Tools
- Use MS Project, PSA, Excel, and MS Word with standard NCR formats and templates.
Basic Qualifications
- Banking application experience is required.
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.
- Zero to two years of project management experience is required.
- Experience in challenging solution implementation environments and complex technology projects is required.
- Banking operations experience in payment processing is preferred.
- Innovative, resourceful, and adaptable working style is required.
