Company and Role Context
British Columbia Rapid Transit Company maintains and operates the Expo and Millennium SkyTrain Lines in Metro Vancouver.
The successful candidate will join a busy team during a period of expansion and growth, supporting the Broadway Subway and Surrey Langley Projects.
Education and Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in business or a related discipline, including coursework in project management, planning, or a related field.
- Solid experience with project coordination and implementation.
- Strong analytical skills for developing and recommending business improvements and change initiatives.
- Advanced organizational, communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Project or alternative project planning software.
- Proficiency with word processing, advanced spreadsheet software, and database applications.
Project Support
- Coordinate and support project implementation during rapid transit expansion and infrastructure renewal.
- Support the Broadway Subway and Surrey Langley Projects.
- Develop and recommend business improvements and change initiatives.
- Balance and coordinate effort across multiple concurrent activities.
