Project Controls Responsibilities

• Lead planning and scheduling, progress measurement, risk management, cost controls, change management, and reporting.
• Guide planning and risk staff, interface with clients, and attend regular meetings.
• Develop and maintain project controls processes, procedures, systems, and tools.
• Provide guidance for resolving planning and project control issues.
• Set up Primavera P6 for programme management across the planning team and stakeholders.
• Prepare the integrated master programme.
• Establish formal project progress reporting arrangements.
• Arrange project controls workshops to help contractors and consultants close project control issues.
• Review claims, Extension of Time requests, and consultant and contractor programmes.
• Analyze programmes against contractual requirements and assess design, construction, and schedule impacts.
• Coordinate effective project risk management across the project.

Required Skills and Experience

• A bachelor's degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or construction management from a recognized institution is required.
• At least 15 years of experience in rail planning and scheduling, cost controls, quantitative schedule risk analysis, and Extension of Time claims is required.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Primavera Risk Analysis, Power BI, and other relevant tools is required.
• Thorough knowledge of industry best practices and regulations is required.
