Position Overview
Lead project controls functions across assigned electrical construction projects.
Support cost management, budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, progress measurement, risk management, productivity tracking, and reporting.
Serve as a strategic partner to operations leadership, project managers, and field supervision teams.
District and Project Context
MEC Transportation delivers transit and rail systems construction and maintenance across the United States and Canada.
The company specializes in overhead contact systems, traction power substations, signaling and train control, communications, and control centers.
The position is based on an active project in the Greater Toronto Area.
Responsibilities
- Lead project controls activities across multiple electrical construction projects.
- Develop budgets, cost codes, work breakdown structures, earned value metrics, baseline schedules, and control systems.
- Prepare forecasts, cash flow projections, cost-to-complete analyses, and executive reporting.
- Monitor productivity, equipment utilization, material expenditures, subcontractor performance, and project financial health.
