Role Overview
Wood is recruiting an experienced Project Controls Engineer for its internal office in Abu Dhabi.
The position is fully office based and supports projects in the energy and materials sectors.
Responsibilities
- Manage monthly invoicing for assigned PMC projects.
- Prepare project budgets, forecasts, financial projections, CVR, and PMR reports.
- Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and maintain cash flow forecasts.
- Maintain invoicing registers and follow up on invoice submission and payment.
- Process financial transactions in SAP, Oracle, and other company systems.
- Coordinate insurance and performance bond requirements, renewals, and tracking.
- Maintain the PMC schedule of fees and commercial rates.
- Support contract amendments, variation orders, and commercial change management.
- Reconcile manpower and commercial data for accurate billing.
- Prepare commercial reports, dashboards, and KPIs.
- Coordinate with Finance, Commercial, HR, Payroll, and project teams.
- Maintain commercial records, support audits, identify risks, and ensure contractual compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
