Reporting Relationships
The Project Controller - Renewable Energy will report to the Director, Corporate Planning & Analysis, and has no direct reports.
Accountabilities and Key Functions
The Project Controller is responsible for managing the financial aspects of utility-scale renewable energy projects throughout the development, construction, and commissioning phases.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Cost Management and Reporting
Develop, maintain, and monitor project budgets and forecasts.
Track actual expenditures, committed costs, and remaining budget across multiple projects.
Analyze budget variances and prepare recommendations for corrective actions.
Prepare monthly project financial reports and cost summaries for management.
Purchase Order & Commitment Management
Maintain commitment registers and track contract values against approved budgets.
Reconcile purchase orders, invoices, and contract commitments.
Construction Financing & Drawdowns
Prepare lender drawdown requests and supporting documentation.
