Role Overview
The Project Controller interfaces with project managers, control account managers, and other project stakeholders across the business.
The role covers scope, schedule, finance, risk, change management, and bid support activities.
Responsibilities
- Scope project requirements into coherent work breakdown, organizational breakdown, and responsibility assignment structures.
- Analyse scope changes and recommend actions to project managers.
- Produce and maintain resourced, time-phased baseline schedules with critical paths.
- Track project expenditure, spending trends, final cost estimates, and financial deviations.
- Create risk registers, facilitate risk reviews, and track mitigation actions.
- Support bids with schedules, resource demand, costing, and estimates.
Requirements
- Experience creating and maintaining project schedules using Microsoft Project.
- Experience managing and reporting project progress through schedules.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience creating, maintaining, and reporting risks using a risk management tool.
- Familiarity with AI/ML models is preferred.
- Ability to obtain appropriate UK Security clearance and complete required Right to Work checks.
