Position Overview
Parsons is seeking a Project Control Manager for a major iconic metro station project.
The role covers project controls across planning, scheduling, cost analysis, progress measurement, forecasting, reporting, and change control.
The position supports delivery against schedule, budget, milestones, and contractual requirements.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop, manage, and execute all phases of the project controls effort.
- Provide guidance and specialized assistance for complex project control problems.
- Interface with clients and provide statistical, progress, cost, schedule, and performance reports.
- Manage Project Control Engineers and Specialists who analyze and forecast cost and schedule performance.
- Oversee the baseline schedule, critical milestones, interfaces, testing, commissioning, and handover requirements.
- Assess design, construction, interface, delay, and schedule-slippage impacts.
- Oversee project controls systems, reports, dashboards, and performance analysis.
- Coordinate controls requirements across civil, structural, architectural, MEP, systems, finishes, public realm, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
- Coordinate staffing, supervise work activities, and train personnel.
- Complete performance reviews and provide personnel development.
- Support variations, claims, delays, and potential change orders with schedule and cost impact analysis.
- Keep project and company management informed of controls status, issues, trends, and risks.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 12 years of related experience.
- Experience in a supervisory capacity.
- Project controls experience on major transportation infrastructure, metro, rail, transit station, or complex building projects.
- Basic engineering knowledge in electrical, mechanical, civil, or a related field.
- Proficiency with project controls software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of planning, scheduling, cost control, progress measurement, forecasting, reporting, change control, and performance analysis.
- Ability to meet Parsons Project Controls Manager Certification requirements.
Desired Skills
- Experience on iconic metro station, rail, transit, or major transportation infrastructure projects is preferred.
- Experience supporting civil, structural, architectural, MEP, systems, finishes, public realm, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
- Experience with Primavera P6 or equivalent planning and scheduling software.
- Experience with project controls dashboards, reporting systems, PMIS platforms, and digital delivery tools.
- Experience working with clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, government agencies, and regulatory authorities.
- Regional experience in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East.
